Welcome to my Seacoast Cancer 5K webpage!
Welcome to my Seacoast Cancer 5k fundraising page!
Two weeks from today--on Sunday, September 24--I will be participating in the 2017 Seacoast Cancer 5K benefiting Wentworth-Douglass Hospital. As you may know, I was treated this summer at Wentworth-Douglass after being diagnosed with Hairy Cell Leukemia. My treatment was a complete success and I'm very grateful to the Wentworth-Douglass team for their support during my healing process.
I’m counting on your donation to help me reach my personal goal. Proceeds from the Seacoast Cancer 5k benefit Wentworth-Douglass Hospital’s Seacoast Cancer Center, where patients receive the most comprehensive and personalized cancer care in the region. 100% of every donation will go directly to support cancer care for patients. The Seacoast Cancer Center provided more than 22,000 cancer treatments for patients from 60 cities and towns in MA, ME and NH last year and, with your support, they will care for even more patients in the years ahead.
I can attest to the personalized, compassionate and quality care that Wentworth-Douglass provides for its patients. I was inspired by that experience to support this important event. (I also needed motivation to get myself back into shape!) The Seacoast Cancer 5k is a celebration of their lifesaving work and of the many cancer survivors who chose Wentworth-Douglass for their care.
Please make a donation to help me reach my fundraising goal--every amount helps.
